Diffuse Pollution Mitigation Works – Conserving Coniston and Crake
The EU Life Natural Course Integrated Project was able to contribute towards and help achieve a number of deliverables around the prevention of diffuse pollution issues in the Coniston catchment. The Conserving Coniston and Crake Project development phase, carried out in 2017, identified a number of diffuse pollution sources throughout the catchment. The primary issues were attributed to septic tank pollution and agricultural sources.
